I just saw this on Pinterest from Joann.com. Looks fun and EASY!
Link to wrist warmer pattern..remember all the ladies on Cranford wore wrist warmers in the cold weather... I need to get that out and watch it again. I love Cranford and Return to Cranford. I really want a knitting pattern for the shawl Miss Matty wears!
All the best, Debby

Use knitted lace in child's Ballerina shrug
Here is a simple but lovely project for a little girl: Little Ballerina Shrug from All Knitted Lace
Isn't that pretty? You could use this design as a springboard and try your own lace design in the body of the shrug.
Happy Knitting!

New on ETSY-Great little bolero pattern 1953 and sale code
There are 12 patterns in this pattern book from 1953 (knitted, crocheted and hairpin lace items) but I have set up some of the cutest items as separate patterns.
...like this great little bolero pattern. I need to make one of these. Wouldn't it look lovely for winter bride?

Happy Friday...new vintage pattern
Happy Friday....and it is a hot one with more triple digit weather. I am so thankful for air conditioning!
I found this really cute crochet pattern for covering clothes hangers and have it now in my ETSY shop. Yeah, I know there are tons out there but this one is a bit different. There are little bumps on each end of the hanger to keep your garment from slipping off.

I need to make a few of these for some chronicly slipping dresses in my closet!
If you are inspired by this patttern, here are some more free ideas:
A lovely shell crochet hanger pattern from DOTTIEANGEL
and Flower trimmed crocheted hangers from FIONA on MARMALADEROSE
And Finally, I love these clothes pin bag patterns on TIPNUT.
Have a happy and safe weekend.

New on ETSY-Easy to knit shrug pattern
Here is a great summer project for beginning knitters.
This is a simple shrug or shoulderette from the 1950s knit from cuff to cuff with 4 oz of worsted weight yarn and size 8 (US) needles.
I have got to make one of these to go over a sundress!
